The Power of Social Media

Tip for modern adulterers: If you’re planning to cheat on your wife of 10 years by awkwardly hitting on the model seated next to you on your flight out of Los Angeles, make sure she isn’t live-tweeting the entire miserable experience to her 13,000 followers;

If you’re still doubting the power of social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter perhaps this Tumblr will help set you straight. It’s a great story though slightly unfortunate for Mr. Brian Presley who decided to lie to a young lady he sat next to on a flight and unbeknownst to him she tweeted the whole conversation.

The 25 Dollar Computer

Due to release early 2012 the Raspberry Pi is a $25 computer that will hopefully inspire a new generation of technology wiz kids according the the BBC. They are also making a $35 model that comes with a NIC (which I believe is the one in the picture). I will definitely be getting one :)

 From Raspberrypi.com:

These are populated boards from our first run of beta devices. They’re undergoing electrical testing alongside hardware and software testing at the moment, and if all goes well, the Raspberry Pi you’ll be buying in January (or by auction later this month if they all work as they should) will be exactly like one of these.
